We cordially invite you to Muenster for the forthcoming international symposium on autoinflammatory syndromes, which will be held from April 18th to 21st, 2012 (3rd international AID-meeting). The symposium is also the fourth meeting of a research consortium (AID-Net), which is funded by the German government through the BMBF.

The vision of the AID-Net consortium, and of our symposium as well, is to foster bridges between basic scientists and clinicians. Following the very successful international meeting in Muenster last year, the event continues to translate recent advances in basic sciences into clinical management of auto-inflammatory diseases and to explore potential future strategies for treatment.

The meeting will take place in a university town and cultural center with a long-standing tradition. It is our personal wish and hope that the symposium participants will thoroughly enjoy the scientific program as well as the atmosphere of an old university town. We look forward to seeing you here in April 2012.
